Projects
These are the open source projects that I have been working on so far. If you are using some of them, feel free to get in touch.
Startups
DailyMuses
DailyMuses is a personal Q&A website. This is the startup that I am currently working on. We are funded by some of the prominent angel investors in the bay area. If you haven't tried out DailyMuses yet, you should. It is available on the App Store.
GraffitiGeo
I started GraffitiGeo when I was a freshman in UIUC. GraffitiGeo was a location based app that helped you to discover places around you, Digg for locations. GraffitiGeo was part of Y Combinator Summer 2009 batch. About 6 months starting GraffitiGeo, GraffitiGeo was acquired by Loopt. I worked at Loopt for another 6 months.

Yet Another Base 62
This is the first Rubygem that I wrote with C extension. In fact, this gem can be used to make url-shortener faster by converting integer to base 62. I created this because there are many gems out there which are implemented in pure Ruby. So, I decided to create one with C extension to see how fast it can go. And, the results is amazing.
Backbone Routes
Backbone Routes is to implement Rails like routes based on Backbone. I created this for DailyMuses because my cofounder complained that Backbone doesn't have something like Rails routes. So, I showed him this.
Mongoid Shortener
I want a link shortener to work together with Mongoid and YAB62. So, I created this. This in fact is a Rails 3.1 engine that I first created. It is used by DailyMuses.
Ruby on Rails
Occasionally, I contributed patches to Ruby on Rails core. The last time I checked the contributors list, I am on 185.
Chat
I created this just to prove that it is possible to create a realtime chat client via Juggernaut on website with iPhone app. This is my most watched GitHub repo. Apparently, Groupon Go is built on top of this.
Consulting
iBilik
iBilik, previously, Caribilik came to FLOChip when they decided to transition from Caribilik to iBilik. We did the redesign of the website.
Shoon Fatt Biscuits
Shoon Fatt Biscuits is a biscutts factory in my hometown. The marketing director came to FLOChip when they were trying to build on online presence. We have built in a few new concept into the website, for example, adaptive layout on multiple displays. We built the backend CMS and the frontend design of the website.
